BHVH could host a fashion show & sale early next year, but we need to guarantee at least 60 will attend before they’ll come to us. So, this is to ask whether you’d be interested.
Our lovely landlady of The Crown, Sally Hillier, has agreed to be one of the models, so if you want to see Sally strut her stuff down the catwalk, say“yes please”! The fashion show is professionally compered to music and lasts around an hour. It caters for all ages from late teens, with sizes from 8 to 20 with a few 4/6. We can fine-tune this once we know who’s attending.
There will be 12 to 18 rails of clothes around the hall to browse after the show, and you’ll be able to try on. The clothes are from Monsoon, Wallis, Oasis, Next, River Island, M&S (including Per Una and Autograph ranges), John Lewis, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, New Look and Top Shop, as well as independent boutique clothes. There’ll also be accessories such as bags and scarves.
All items are between 30% and 60% off, sometimes up to 80%/90% off, starting at £5.00 with an average price of £16/£18. It’s in-season, surplus clothing so there’s nothing wrong with any of it.
To let us know if you might come, contact Juanita Poulton. Please say whether you’d prefer Wednesday or Saturday evening. The entry fee will be £7 including a glass of Prosecco and I expect we’ll have a bar (this is Broad Hinton after all).
